Random points:

* I desperately wanted to give Syd a hug during the aftermath of the dream sequence. The hitching, sobbing breath? SOB. I wanted to cry with her. It reminded me of how I always wanted to cry with SMG.

* Am I the only one that kinda-sorta sees Syd/Sloane? syzylynx refuses to jump on my bandwagon, but anyone else? Anyone? There's so much hostility there. And besides, Sloane is such a smarmy bastard, he'd be all over it. And her.

* I will forever worship at the altar of Jack Bristow. He is my idol. And what was up with Vaughn threatening him? PLEASE. Vaughn is not worthy enough to kiss the hem of Jack's trousers, let alone attempt to physically threaten him in any way.

* I have a new Theory. I was struck by the utter co-blondness of Sark and Lauren during the scene in the underground parking lot. (And as an aside, after my years of watching X-Files, I will never park in an underground parking lot again. Only bad things happen there.) My theory is that Lauren Reed, the senator's daughter, was killed in a freak cricket accident when she was 10, and was replaced with another small blonde girl, who happened to have an equally blond brother, who was off doing equally inappropriate things at that time. So "Lauren" is really Sark's sister, which explains her lust to find Lazarey's killer.

* I had the first urge I've ever had to write Alias fic tonight. I could see a scene so clearly, I was tempted to write it down. Jack does not take kindly to his daughter being harmed. Lauren, if I were you, I'd be bending over and kissing my ass goodbye.

* Where was Allison? Was she off taking fencing lessons with Duncan MacLeod?

* I WANT LENA OLIN BAAAAAAACK!
