crankylexBy the time I got home from work tonight, Jim was already home and preparing dinner.
I snuck into the kitchen, intending to surprise him, when I heard him say to the cats, who were undoubtedly refusing to eat the last morsels of food in their bowls,
"You know, there are cats starving in Biafra."
There was a lengthy pause, in which they undoubtedly thought, "Why don't you box this crap up and send it to them!" and then I heard him say, under his breath, "What the fuck am I saying?"
I almost died.
