When Serena said that, I slapped my hands over my mouth in abject shock. Not, you know, that she was a lesbian, but because it was so RANDOM AND OUT OF THIN AIR.

I'm stunned. And Jimmy slept through it. It figures.

I kept wondering if I had missed something. I know this show doesn't get overly involved in the personal lives of the characters, but given the delivery I figured there had to have been some kind of reveal that I had missed.

I was also wondering why the decided to get rid of her. I know there's been a revolving door of ADAs over the years, but for some reason I thought she would be around for a bit longer. Do they just want some new blood?

It has been my personal belief for many moons that Olivia and Alex (on SVU) were big ole lesbos and were involved in a loving, committed relationship.

I have always (mostly jokingly) said that Serena was also a big ole lesbo and had lunch with Alex to discuss big ole lesbo lawyer things.

Little did I know I was right!

And that *was* the reveal, apparently. I've seen nearly every episode that she's been in, and there was no mention of her sexual orientation.

While I like Elizabeth Roehm, she would not have been my first choice for assistant ADA. I WANT ABBY CARMICHAEL (another big ole lesbo) BACK.

What is it with this show and lesbians? They're everywhere!

I watched the preview and I do NOT like the look of the new ADA. I'm such a shallow bitch. :-)
