I don't know if everyone on my fl knows this, but dawnydiesel's son had an accident last week which required amputation of his poor little pinky finger.

The medical bills are outrageous, and they have no health insurance.

For the cause, I am auctioning off fanfiction. I will write one fic of the winner's choice subject to the following specifications:

* BtVS/Ats
* B/A(us)
* 5K-7.5K words
* any rating
* any tone

I noticed that someone else mentioned finishing WIPs. I would be willing to do this; I have several, most of which none of you have ever seen. I could maybe do synopses (sp?) and let people choose from there if there is interest. I can be contacted at lex at bitchenvy dot com to discuss prior to bidding.

I put in my bid as soon as I saw the auction posted. Which isn't to say that people shouldn't feel free to outbid me. The object is to raise as much money to cover these bills as we can.
