"Television evangelist Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, which Robertson opposed.

"He was dividing God's land, and I would say, 'Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the [European Union], the United Nations or the United States of America,'" Robertson told viewers of his long-running television show, "The 700 Club."

Can't Robertson be struck down already?

I have this image of a mob of slavering zombies following Robertson. It's probably not to far from reality.

As I told [livejournal.com profile] carlyinrome last night, even God is thinking, "WTF Pat Robertson?!? Stop pretending to speak for me you gigantic MORON."

Nevermind the fact that the biblical references he cites involve a time period where the Gaza Strip actually belong to the Phillistines and wasn't even a part of Israel.

So the "tearing apart God's land" isn't even a valid argument.

What a tool.

A. Pat Robertson makes all Christians look like utter morons, even ones like me who feel an overwhelming urge to vomit whenever we read his stupidities.

B. *sigh* Read "A" again in a more high-pitched and distressed voice.
