The Fanfic Writers Meme

Keyboard or longhand?
What's longhand? ::grin:: I will admit to plotting out notes and such longhand, but I always write using the keyboard, mainly because I can type about a zillion times faster than I can write (or speak, for that matter, and for those of you who have heard me speak, you now understand just how quickly I can type).
Beta or no beta?
Depends on the type and length of story. I tend to fly without a beta on humorous or 'fluffy' stories, but for longer, plot-driven pieces, betas are invaluable. I need someone that is not afraid to kick me in the head and say, "What the FUCK are you doing?" when I'm going astray.
Plot?
Since when did *plot* become a yes/no question? Yes, definitely.
Title?
Christ, I hate titles. I hate thinking them up, which is why I pretty much suck like a sucking thing when it comes to them.
Smushy or smutty?
Lately, neither. I'm currently riding the humor train. Formerly, smutty. With a heaping helping of angst on the side.
Summary?
Yes, and the more concise, the better.
Funniest fic?
I think all my X-Men fic has been pretty funny.
Most popular fic?
Back in the day, for whatever reason, a lot of my stuff was pretty popular.
Forever And A Day is always a fan favorite, written with
ragingpixie, back when she wrote het. :->
One of my more infamous stories was Never Again, which is where the Riley!Rug was born.
Most fun to write?
The Revisionist History series was the most emotionally satisfying, does that count as fun?
Best and Worst?
I don't necessarily have best and worst stories, but I do have parts of several that I either adore or loathe.
Coulda been Contenders?
I would have said The Hunted, but
margotlefaye bought the ending during the auction for
dawnydiesel's son's medical bills, so that will hopefully make an appearance before Halloween.
The sequel to The Hunted would have been pretty cool, had I ever gotten around to doing it.
Strengths
I can spell.
Weaknesses
I'm an average writer, with average writer faults (failure to plan, failure to follow through, etc.)
Dirty Little Secrets?
My fic kinks are fairly well known, so there's nothing secret about them. Dirty, yes, but secret, no.
