Is that what a group of ferrets is called, a business? Cool.
Rats, of course, are a mischief. . . for excellent reasons! I have friends who let their rats free-range and they can make some big messes, too.
I don't let mine free-range 'cause of the three dogs and (depending on whether or not Nicholas is at home) one or two cats. My guys get into enough mischief just in their cages -- my human guys have finally learned not to lay anything made of cloth on top of the rat cages. The rats have chewed up sweaters, caps, uniforms, blue jeans. And they can do it so fast!
My rats are the same. 5 seconds without supervisement and they make an equal mess. And don't even ask about my mothers $95 (canadian) curtins! And I've completely given up on wearing long sleeved clothes while playing or holding them. BTW, mind if I swipe your icon? I will credit!

And one way or the other, you and I clearly know why they call a group of rats a "mischief"!
