Do you think any of these people actually...oh I don't know, read these books before they get all hellfire and brimstone about them?

Don't get me wrong, I love being a southerner, but the Bible belt just kills me sometimes. Stuff like the HP 'drama'. Why is this even an issue? It's FICTION people...and a great read, I might add.

Now, if it's all right with the fundamentalist conservatives, I'm gonna go grab me some butter beer and a treacle tart and try my hand at transfiguration :)

I myself haven't read the Potter books, but I am fairly certain that they are not endorsing any specific agenda, other than encouraging education and reading.

But these are the people that think the only thing reading gets you are crazy ideas.
