blood ties
Apr. 24th, 2007 10:40 pmUm, I kind of love this show.
Does it make me a bad person that the first thing I thought when Mike knocked Vicki out the way Starving!Beast!Henry was, "C'mon, she'll be fine, there's no way Henry can bite through that cable-knit turtleneck?
Seriously!
Henry could have lunged for Vicki, grabbed her, and gotten a mouthful of cotton. Meanwhile, Mike could have clubbed him in the head with the shotgun. Problem solved.
I do like how Vicki's never afraid to touch Henry, even though he's vamped out, mouth bloody from having fed on Mike. Most people wouldn't put their hands near the mouth of a starving animal. She's either really brave or really stupid.
Henry reciting the Lords Prayer while dragging Mendoza to his death? LOVED IT. The look on his face when he's bent over, necklace dangling... OMG. OMG!!!
I was kind of hoping Vicki knocked out a few teeth when she coldcocked Mike in the beginning, but he seems to be okay. Le sigh.
I LOVE THE CORONER, in the tradition of Natalie Lambert, Dana Scully, and Vicky Po.
I know I've been spending too much time with cat macros when I expected the coroner to say, "Vampires? In MYharbl morgue?"
