In some places that are not Southern California, when it gets cold (which has a different meaning here) and it rains, the rain magically freezes before it hits the ground and forms little white flakes.
Kind of like dandruff, but it melts. Unless there's a lot of it, then it causes all sorts of fun.

Anyhoo, to answer your IM question from last night, no, I didn't end up DVDing it (although I did watch a movie this morning); I ended up playing Guitar Hero with dystempted and Bill all night.
