L: I have a cold. What do you want?
J: Did you go to work today?
L: No, I have a fever and I can barely talk or hear.
J: Ahhhh-lexxxx-is, they are going to fire you from that job.
L: I'm sure they are. Did you want something?
J: Can you take off from work next week to take me to the doctors?
L: What happened to me being fired from my job?
J: This is different. I'm your mother. They'll understand.
I wonder if you gain the ability to create your own logic like that after giving birth, or if some people are just born with this ability.
*sneeze*
