What's on your bedside table?
It's not a table, per se. It's more of an abstract construct made of particleboard. And let's see. A lamp, made of brushed steel, that has never, in the four years that I've had it, been plugged in. There's no outlet on that side of the room, and I'm just too damn lazy to run extension cords. It's for show.
Um, what else. Books. All kinds of books, ranging from Lisa Kleypas to Tanya Huff. Also miscellaneous papers.
What is the geekiest part of your music collection?
I have a Ricky Martin cd. That's pretty embarrassing.
What do you eat when you raid the fridge late at night?
I never go shopping, so my fridge raiding is limited to whatever's actually in there.
What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie?
I never cry at movies.
*snicker*syzylynx is howling right now. Okay, here's a BIG SECRET about me: I cry at everything. Movies. TV shows. Commercials. Those Hallmark people are evil. EVIL!
If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
I'd have full body liposuction, but I wouldn't change my diet, so I'd develop a case of fat in odd places. Hence, no plastic surgery for me. In all honesty, there's nothing I dislike about myself that much to go under the knife for.
Do you have a completely irrational fear?
I don't think any of my fears are irrational. Well, I do have a terror of talking dolls, but they're freaky! They have eyes that move and it's just creepy. And wrong.
What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moment?
I fiddle with whatever's in my hand at that moment. I also play with my hair way more than normal.
Do you ever have to beg?
Rarely. Most people tend to fear me, so that works out well.
Are you a pyromaniac?
Uh, no.
Do you have too many love interests?
At the moment, I have no actual love interests. I do, however, have longstanding crushes on Gillian Anderson and Yancy Butler.
Do you know anyone famous?
Nope.

Spontaneous or plan:
I try to plan things out, because my mother is a completely spontaneous person and it DROVE ME UP A WALL when I was a kid.
Who should play you in a movie about your life?
I'm going to have to go with Indie and say Janeane Garofalo. I've been told by several seriously myopic people that I resemble Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, only with dark hair, but I think they're full of it.
Do you know how to play poker?
Nope. The last person I played cards with was my grandfather and he died about fifteen years ago.
What do you carry with you at all times?
Some inhalers. Some money. Some weaponry.
How do you drive?
I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that I might overlook myself.
What do you miss most about being little?
I miss having the time to be able to read all day long.

No one really calls me by my given name. Mostly everyone calls me Lex. But Alexis isn't bad as far as names go.

White, cracked walls. Old ratty kinda cherry wood furniture.

No, I have absolutely no musical talent. I have acting skill, but it's mainly used for getting me out of tickets.

Not as a general rule, no. Unless they're trying to steal my car or something. That would be annoying.
