crankylexI went to bed at 8:45 because I couldn't stand watching the updates on tv. When I woke up ten minutes ago and checked cnn.com, I realized that I was right the entire time; civilization as I know and love it only exists in the northeast and on the west coast.
Normal people: please move to these areas immediately and we will secede from the rest of the nation and declare our own president. We will retain the name "United States of America", and they can be the "United States of Despair and Psycho Religious Whackjobetry". Yes, I just made that word up. It's 4 in the morning. Deal.
As in many households I know, Jimmy and I canceled each other out, but hey. At least we both went out. And as I said the last time I didn't elect him, my state went Kerry. :->
Yeterday was fairly free of preaching in my general vicinity except for one nutbag at work who, despite my insistence that we not discuss politics, kept yakking at me about Bush's wonderful qualities. I almost threw up on him. Bush is literally against nearly everything that I believe in and represent as a person and I'm supposed to sit there and nod and smile.
What the fuck EVER.
Meh.
I'm going back to bed to curl up with my snoring boyfriend and try to forget this is happening.
