Amy has a female Dane too, who while not as large, is even friendlier, so friendly that she has on more than one occasion taken me to the ground by leaping at me. And nothing hurts like 150+ pounds of dog landing on you.
Danes are good dogs, really friendly and good natured, and not very active. Basically, they are enormous lap dogs who like to lean against you.
