For me, it's not the age difference. Hey, I'm several years older than my husband, y'know? Age is not a factor to me.

For my money, I wish the media would stop talking about Tom Cruise period. To me, he's a minimally talented, marginally cute guy. As a person,though, I can't stand him, never could, never will. (And as someone who has suffered from depression, let me say that I want him to keep his nose out of other people's medical issues. I can't take anti-depressants and use St. John's Wort but I know people whose lives have been saved by the use of anti-depressants.)

Neither of us is likely to get her wish, sadly.

I have to say, I was unaware of Tommy boy's aversion to anti-depressants.

Let's leave the medicating to the doctors, and the big-budget action flops to actors, mmmmkay?

I've suffered from major depression my entire life. My mother is manic-depressive. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the both of us are still alive today because of medicines like that.

Besides, wtf is up with this scientology shit? They're as bad as evangelical christians with the proselytizing.

Agreed - enough with Tom and Katie! And can we please stop hearing about the "Runaway Bride" too! This morning on the news it was snippet of the upcoming Katie Couric interview with her, she said the night she chose to leave it wasn't just cold feet, it was a "matter of life and death!"
