When George W. Bush can carry a fetus to term on his own, then and only then will I listen to a word he has to say about abortion.

Until that time comes, he needs to SHUT THE FUCK UP.

He's not the one that is going to be forced into bringing a child he cannot care for into the world.

He's not the child who is going to be yet another mouth to feed and (mis)treated accordingly.

It makes me nearly homicidal with rage to think that a bunch of elderly men sitting in Washington feel it is their right to pass judgement on the actions of women all across the US.

They've also sexed up the unborn by calling them the preborn. The preborn! It's like when used cars because preowned.

News flash: The preborn have no rights. Until you can live without mechanical assistance outside of my body, you are subject to my decisions. I am the arbiter of what happens to the "preborn" in my own body.

I'm old enough to remember coathanger abortions. I'm old enough to have gone with a friend to a clinic in another state because she couldn't legally get an abortion in our own state. I'm old enough to have a daughter whose body will be subjected to the law of the land for another thirty years. And, I'm old enough that if I get pregnant, the chances of mental impairment and other birth defects are exponentially higher than they were during my prior pregnancy.

Are we fucked? I don't know. I do know...we're not done fighting.

Oh dear, what has that walking piece of road kill (wishful thinking, I know) come up with now?
