Has anyone else been spoiled for X3?

Because I really, really want to talk about it.

ETA:

Part of me likes the "oooh, shiny new mutants" aspect, what with Beast and Angel and an expanded role for Kitty (and for the love of christ, how many actresses have PLAYED that girl?).

I know there are more mutants as well, but those are the only ones I know anything about the characters.

I like Famke Jansson, and I like the new Dark Phoenix hair. Yes, I'm shallow. We've already established that.

I know nothing about the director, other than the collective fandom is apparently having a conniption fit at the idea of his involvement.

My issue is the rumored Wolverine/Storm OMG BIG HOT PASSION.

It's my understanding that there has been something going on between the two comic characters for some time, but we didn't get that from either the first or the second movie. I kinda feel like they're shoehorning it in to have a "big name" relationship.

That's my rational response.

My emotional fannish response is WHAT ABOUT ROGUE?!?!?!

Okay, Mala, I know you are a big Rogue/Remy comic fan. I was never a comic of any kind fan, so when I watched the first X-Men, it was with no real knowledge of the characters or how they were related.

So I watched, and I was most struck with how Hugh Jackman and Anna Paquin interacted. The whole Logan/Jean thing seemed to be rather over the top, so it didn't do much for me, but Logan/Marie, now THAT I could get behind.

I was never involved in the fandom, but I do still nose around the W/R archives and lists.

(No one draw any parallels to my own life, please. :-)

Will no one think of poor Rogue? Stuck with the ice cube, pining away for the big hairy man?

Plus, I fear that they're going to relegate Anna Paquin to a tiny bitty role, and damn it, I like her!

Not yet, but go ahead, spoil me. I'm afraid of this movie. Because of the Halle kerfluffle and lack of Bryan Singer. I'm afraid my worst fears before seeing the first movie about Hollywood and it's treatment of my most beloved comic will be realized.

But I am not afraid of spoilers, be they good or bad. :)
