And my heat has died.

Argh. It is now a balmy 50 degrees in my apartment. I knew something was up when I woke up and all three cats were under the covers with me.

I have just now attempted a quick fix involving a towel and some duct tape; we'll see if that holds out until morning. I wouldn't mind it so much if we weren't going through a cold snap, but it's fucking cold in NJ.

We're *finally* getting rain for the first time since November, so I wouldn't be willing to trade. But then, we've also had the warmest winter on record for my state.

It was 76 the other day. In Kansas.
