I have the overwhelming urge to adopt Britney Spears and her offspring.

Someone needs to fix that hot mess on her head, dress her clothing that not only fits her but covers all pertinent parts, and keep her sober for more than an hour at a time.

kita0610 will take LiLo, and I've got BritBrit, who's going to take the Olsen twins?

My tolerance level for Britney is very low, frankly. I always thought she turned half a pound of talent wrapped it in ten pounds of marketing and sold it to the public.

That said, I felt so bad for her when I saw the performance (over and over and over on assorted morning TV show). I blame her for two things: the performance itself which was twelve steps (word choice carefully made there) beyond bizarre and the costume. If she'd come out wearing something that covered her up a bit more, she wouldn't be getting so much of the "oh, lord, she's so fat!" crap that I keep reading and hearing. She's not fat. She just has the bad judgement (*grin* not misspelled -- British spelled!) to wear a little sequined bikini.
